Lauren Sanchez

Dr. Lauren Sanchez is an Assistant Professor in the Pediatrics Department at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) School of Medicine. Her research and clinical work focus on primary immunodeficiency, allergy and immunology, and the transition of care for young adults with chronic illnesses.

She also investigates the quality of life for immunodeficiency patients and their families, and advocates for addressing social determinants of health such as food insecurity in food-allergic populations through initiatives at UCSF Pediatric Allergy and Immunology.

Recent work includes studies on desensitization therapy in pediatric oncology, quality improvement in immunodeficiency care, and GATA2 deficiency manifestations.
