Lauren S. Hallion

Lauren S. Hallion is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology at the University of Pittsburgh's Dietrich School of Arts & Sciences. She directs the Cognitive and Neural Mechanisms of Anxiety Lab, researching cognitive and neurobiological mechanisms underlying anxiety disorders. Her work examines how attentional control and executive function relate to anxiety development and maintenance.

Currently accepting graduate students, Dr. Hallion focuses on experimental psychopathology research with translational applications. Her lab investigates cognitive risk factors for anxiety using behavioral, psychophysiological, and neuroimaging methods.
