Lauren Kogod

Lauren Kogod serves as Adjunct Associate Professor at The Irwin S. Chanin School of Architecture at The Cooper Union. She holds a B.F.A. and B.Arch from Rhode Island School of Design, an M.S. in Architecture and Building Design from Columbia University, and is a PhD candidate in Architectural History and Theory at Harvard University. Her professional practice includes partnership at Kogod Smiley Architects.

Her scholarly work focuses on architectural history and theory, with publications appearing in Assemblage, Harvard Design Magazine, Architecture + Urbanism, and the Routledge volume 'Architecture and Capitalism, 1850 to the Present.' Prior to Cooper Union, she taught architectural history and theory at Yale University School of Architecture.
