معرفی
Dr. Lauren Headland is a Lecturer in Molecular Biosciences at the University of Glasgow, affiliated with the College of Medical, Veterinary and Life Sciences. Her career focuses on plant biology, particularly mechanisms of photosynthesis, UV-B signaling, and environmental adaptation in Arabidopsis.
Research interests include
- Photosynthetic efficiency and gene regulation in plants
- UV-B light signaling pathways independent of UVR8
- Chromatin organization under light and temperature stress
- Flowering time regulation via photoreceptor crosstalk
Recent publications highlight her work on glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate dehydrogenase subunits (2023), light-temperature interactions (2020), UV-B gene expression (2019), and foundational UV-B action spectrum research (2009). She also contributes to pedagogical studies, including Master’s supervision experiences (2025) and PGT project reflections (2024).
