Lauren Armstrong is a Lecturer in Early Childhood Education at UTAS, researching policy reform impacts on educators through post-structural frameworks. Her work addresses workforce challenges, literacy development, and equity in early learning environments.
Current projects include collaborations with DECYP on literacy frameworks and nutritional mapping for Tasmanian children. Community roles: Chair of Northern Early Years Group and B4 Coalition leader. Awards recognize excellence in sustainability education and teaching innovation.
Teaching focuses on inclusive practices, curriculum design, and socio-cultural perspectives in education. Supervision includes PhD candidates studying family engagement in literacy programs.
