Laurel Miller is an Associate Professor of Practice in the Management Information Systems (MIS) department at Temple University's Fox School of Business and Management. She has been Director of Temple’s Institute for Business and Information Technology (IBIT) since 2006, overseeing external relations, symposiums, awards, and membership programs. She coordinates faculty-student corporate projects, industry speaker series, and manages student scholarships and professional organizations.
Education: BS and MS in Education from Temple University. Awards include the ACM Student Organization Outstanding Service Award (2001) and the MIS Administrative Leadership Award (2001, 2003).
Her work focuses on integrating IT into education and professional development. She teaches courses like Web Application Development and Information Technology Management.
