Laura Zarraoa is a Postdoctoral Researcher at ICFO - The Institute of Photonic Sciences in Barcelona, where she contributes to cutting-edge research within the Atomic Quantum Optics group. Her work bridges experimental quantum technologies and atomic-scale photonics systems.
She holds an MSc in Physics and Nanotechnology from the Technical University of Denmark (DM), providing foundational expertise for her current nanoscale quantum research.
Her primary research interests include Quantum Optics and Atomic Physics, focusing on light-matter interactions for quantum computing applications. The Atomic Quantum Optics laboratory employs advanced laser cooling and ultra-high vacuum systems to manipulate individual atoms, positioning her work at the forefront of quantum information science.
