Laura Vazquez serves as Professor and Undergraduate Program Director in the Department of Communication at Northern Illinois University. She directs the Reality Bytes Film Festival and leads the Social Justice and Diversity Pathway, with recent recognition as an Honors Faculty Fellow (2022-2024) for her seminar on Innovation, Social Equity, and Entrepreneurship in Media.
Her educational background includes a Ph.D. from Northwestern University.
