Laura Valtere

Laura Valtere is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Centre for Advanced Studies in Bioscience Innovation Law (CeBIL) within the Faculty of Law at the University of Copenhagen. She is also a guest lecturer at the Riga Graduate School of Law and the University of Latvia, and a former research fellow at Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich.

Her expertise lies in patent law and regulatory frameworks, particularly in biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, and personalized medicine. Key research areas include combating antimicrobial resistance, advanced therapy medicinal products, and IP incentives for biosolution innovations.
