Laura Serine is an Adjunct Instructor in the Occupational Therapy Program at Shenandoah University (SU), located in Loudoun. She holds a B.S. in Health Science from George Mason University, an M.S. in Occupational Therapy from Towson University, and is pursuing a Post-Professional Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD) at SU.
Professionally, she works full-time at Inova Health System in outpatient adult neurological rehabilitation. Her experience spans adult inpatient neurology, school-based pediatric therapy, early intervention, and adjunct teaching at SU. She obtained Assistive Technology Professional (ATP) certification in 2015 and received IRB approval in 2022 for a study on vision-related deficits caused by neurological events.
