Laura Rodriguez Silva

Laura Rodriguez Silva is a Contracted Professor affiliated with the Faculty of Sciences at the University of Santiago de Compostela. Her research focuses on Inorganic Chemistry, particularly in bioinorganic and supramolecular chemistry, with a specialization in rhodium and iridium complexes stabilized by oxygen-donating ligands.

Education:

• PhD in Chemistry (1997) from the University of Zaragoza, thesis titled: Synthesis and Reactivity towards Alkynes of Rhodium and Iridium Complexes Stabilized by Oxygen-Donating Ligands, supervised by Dr. Miguel Angel Esteruelas Rodrigo.

Research Interests: Laura’s work centers on the synthesis and reactivity of transition metal complexes, with implications in organometallic chemistry, coordination chemistry, and supramolecular systems. She is affiliated with the SUPRABIOIN Bioinorganic and Supramolecular Chemistry research group and has participated in the GI-1583 collaboration group.
