Laura Rischbieter is a Professor for the History of Capitalism at the Department of History, University of Basel (since 2024). She previously held a professorship in Global Economic History at the University of Konstanz. Her research focuses on modern economic history in global contexts, including the history of financial crises since 1945 and global markets.
