Laura Rebollo-Neira

Dr. Laura Rebollo-Neira is a Lecturer in Applied Mathematics and Data Science at Aston University. Her research develops mathematical methods for sparse signal representation and inverse problems.

Current work focuses on optimized orthogonal matching pursuit algorithms, wavelet dictionaries for ECG modeling, and sparse representation techniques for color images. Applications include biomedical signal compression and efficient data storage.

Teaching includes undergraduate analysis courses and postgraduate approximation theory. She accepts PhD students in mathematical signal processing.
