Laura Pricop

Laura Pricop is a Scientific Researcher III at the Social Sciences and Humanities Research Department, Institute of Interdisciplinary Research, within the Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iași. She holds a PhD in Philosophy (2011) and specializes in ethics, problematology, and philosophy of communication. Her research explores rationality structures in ethical reasoning, public sphere communication, and interdisciplinary epistemology, particularly focusing on doctor-patient interactions and telemedicine digitization.

She serves as science communication manager for the COST Action RECAST (2017–2021), an expert evaluator for EU H2020-MSCA programs, and deputy editor of Bulletin of Integrative Psychiatry. Her work bridges philosophy with healthcare, emphasizing ethical frameworks for medical practices and digital health systems. Recent publications address moral dimensions of telemedicine, antimicrobial resistance governance, and pandemic-era communication strategies.
