Laura Pellatt

Laura Pellatt is a Lecturer in Biomedical Science at the School of Science, University of Greenwich, and serves as Associate Head of School - Student Success. She is also a Link Tutor for Science Programmes at London South East Colleges in Bromley.

• Education: BSc (Hons) in Biomedical Science (1998-2002) from the University of Bradford with an intercalation year at St George's University of London.
• Research Focus: Hormonal influences on sexual differentiation, metformin's effects on ovarian steroidogenesis, and anti-Müllerian hormone (AMH) function in polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS).
• Experience: Postdoctoral research at St George's University of London, funded by the Medical Research Council (MRC); 2011-2019 as Lecturer and Programme Leader at London South East Colleges; joined the University of Greenwich in 2019.
• Teaching: Module Leader for Introduction to Medical Science (Level 4) and Cellular and Molecular Pathology (Level 5).
