Laura M. Leduc is a Professor of Management, International Business (IB), and MBA Programs at James Madison University's College of Business, holding the endowed Adolph Coors Foundation Business Professorship. She serves as Department Head of Management (2018-2021) and has held roles from Assistant to Associate Professor before her current rank since 2019.
Her education includes a Ph.D. in Business Administration from the University of Iowa (2007), an M.I.B.S. in International Business from the University of South Carolina (1995), a B.A. in French from Florida State University (1992), and an A.A. from St. Petersburg Junior College (1990).
Leduc’s research focuses on team performance dynamics, ethical decision-making, personality-values interactions, and organizational behavior. She explores how team values affect performance, the efficacy of ethical training programs, and selection processes aligned with organizational fit. Her work bridges psychology and management, emphasizing practical applications in leadership and ethics education.
Awards highlight her scholarship and teaching, including the Madison Scholar Award (2019), CoB Foundation Faculty Fellowship (2018-2020), and multiple Paul Bierly Best Publication Awards. Her grants include Madison Collaborative Research support (2014-2016).
Her contributions span academic leadership, curriculum development, and interdisciplinary research, with ongoing focus on ethics integration in business education and team-based organizational effectiveness.
