Laura Isabel García Álvarez

Laura Isabel García Álvarez serves as a Full Professor in the Department of Private Law at Pablo de Olavide University, specializing in Private International Law and actively contributing to the Plurilingualism, Multiculturalism and Law research group.

Her academic foundation includes a PhD from Pablo de Olavide University (2015) with the dissertation "Access to civil justice in cases of environmental damage caused by transnational groups of companies with European parents," supervised by Dr. Alfonso Ybarra Bores and Dr. Andrés Rodríguez Benot.

Her research centers on Private International Law with emphases on environmental justice in transnational corporate contexts, multicultural legal frameworks, and plurilingual legal systems. She participates in the PAIDI Area for Social and Legal Sciences and contributes to the International Relations and International Law doctoral program.
