Laura Ibarra

Laura Ibarra serves as an Assistant Professor & Assistant Program Chair in Educational Counseling at LaFetra College of Education, University of La Verne. She is affiliated with the Educational Counseling, MS program and can be contacted at libarra@laverne.edu.

Her research interests focus on educational counseling, student development, and counseling psychology within educational settings. Dr. Ibarra's work addresses mental health considerations in academic environments and supports student success through counseling interventions.

Dr. Ibarra maintains an active role in her department as both a faculty member and program leadership, contributing to the development and implementation of the Educational Counseling curriculum at the graduate level.
