Laura Haworth

Dr. Laura Haworth is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Medical College of Wisconsin, specializing in Complex Gynecology. She joined the institution in August 2024 after completing her fellowship in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery at Macon and Joan Brock Virginia Health Sciences at Old Dominion University.

Her clinical expertise includes:

• Laparoscopic, robotic, and hysteroscopic surgical approaches
• Management of pelvic pain, endometriosis, adenomyosis
• Treatment of abnormal uterine bleeding, fibroids, and ovarian cysts

Her research focuses on surgical techniques to reduce blood loss during myomectomy and applications of surgical equipment to minimize operative time and complications.

Dr. Haworth contributes to medical education through:

• Co-leading the gynecologic surgery simulation program
• Supervising residents and medical students
• Presenting research at conferences including the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists

She practices at Froedtert Specialty Clinics and performs surgeries at Froedtert Hospital.
