Laura Giarré

Laura Giarré is a Professor at the Department of Engineering 'Enzo Ferrari' of the University of Modena e Reggio Emilia (UniMoRe), Italy. She specializes in control systems, autonomous systems, and cyber-physical systems with industrial applications. Her work focuses on advanced control strategies for transportation systems and Industry 4.0, including autonomous vehicle planning, cyber-physical security, and human tracking via wearable sensors.

She serves as Chair of the IEEE SMC Italy Chapter (since 2023) and is an Associate Editor for IEEE TCNS.
