Laura Fuentes Aparicio

Laura Fuentes Aparicio is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Physiotherapy at the Faculty of Physiotherapy, Universitat de València. She is actively involved in research through her affiliation with the PTinMOTION Physiotherapy in Motion. Multispeciality Research Group.

Her research focuses on clinical physiotherapy interventions, particularly in women's health and pelvic floor disorders. Key areas include the application of kinesio taping in managing stress urinary incontinence, rehabilitation techniques involving stabilizing braces, and evidence-based physiotherapy practices. Laura earned her PhD from the Universitat de València in 2018. Her doctoral research was supervised by Dr. Celedonia Igual Camacho and Dr. Laura López Bueno.
