Laura Elliott

Laura Elliott is Senior Lecturer in Practice Development - Nursing at the University of Northampton, with clinical practice in urgent care settings. She holds an MSc in Autonomous Healthcare Practice and NMC Teacher status, and serves as external examiner for the University of Liverpool.

Research interests center on postgraduate education enhancement, clinical simulation effectiveness, clinical reasoning development, and emotional resilience building in healthcare professionals. Recent work explores innovative pedagogical approaches for advanced practice training.

Publications focus on patient assessment methodologies and educational enhancement strategies. Recent book contributions address clinical deterioration recognition and dermatological assessment techniques for prescribing practitioners.
