Laura Corrigan

Laura Corrigan is a Physician Scientist affiliated with Lawrence Technological University, specifically the College of Engineering and College of Health Sciences.

Dr. Corrigan received her medical degree from Wayne State University in 1997 and completed her Neurology residency and Clinical Neurophysiology fellowship at Henry Ford Hospital in 2003. With 23 years of clinical experience, she specializes in EMG, neuromuscular medicine, and intraoperative neuromonitoring, a role she has held exclusively for Henry Ford Health over the past five years.

Her research and clinical focus spans Neurology, Clinical Neurophysiology, and Intraoperative Neuromonitoring, integrating engineering principles with health sciences to advance neuromuscular diagnostics and surgical monitoring. She is actively involved in professional organizations, serving as a board member for the American Association of Neuromuscular and Electrodiagnostic Medicine (AANEM) and the American Neuromuscular Foundation (ANF).
