Laura Corbit

Laura Corbit is an Associate Professor at the University of Toronto, specializing in Behavioural Neuroscience. Her research focuses on the behavioural and neural mechanisms underlying instrumental learning and reward-seeking behaviours, particularly how life experiences such as dietary choices or drug exposure alter learning processes and behavioural control.

Based on the Downtown Toronto (St. George) campus, Corbit's work bridges psychology and neuroscience to understand adaptive and maladaptive behavioural patterns. She maintains an active research program with implications for addiction, decision-making, and cognitive flexibility studies.
