Dr. Laura Coffey is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology at Maynooth University, affiliated with the Faculty of Science & Engineering, ALL Institute, and Human Health Institute. She holds a BA in Psychology from University College Dublin, an MPsychSc in Health Psychology from National University of Ireland Galway, and a PhD in Rehabilitation Psychology from Dublin City University. Her research focuses on psychosocial experiences of individuals with illness, disability, and neurodivergence, emphasizing self-management, supported decision-making, and participatory research methods.
