Laura Calafà is a Full Professor at the Department of Legal Sciences, University of Verona, specializing in Labour Law. She holds the academic rank of Professor (Professore Ordinario) with research sector focusing on Legal studies, comparative law, law and economics, constitutions, human rights, international law, and inequalities, discrimination, prejudice.
Her research interests span multiple critical areas including Work-Life Balance regulatory tools, Flexible Employment Contracts, Anti-discrimination frameworks in labor contexts, Immigration Law with focus on extra-EU workers' rights, and Workplace Safety regulations. Professor Calafà has developed significant expertise at the intersection of traditional labor frameworks and emerging challenges like digitalization and AI's impact on employment relationships.
