Laura Barrett

Laura Barrett is a Clinical Associate Professor at George Washington University's Department of Speech, Language and Hearing Science. She supervises student clinicians in pediatric speech-language disorders, social communication disorders, and feeding disorders.

With over 30 years of clinical experience across hospitals, early intervention programs, schools, and home care settings in Boston and Northern Virginia, she brings extensive practical knowledge to her teaching. Barrett is level 1 PROMPT trained and level 1 SOS Approach to Feeding trained.

Her teaching responsibilities include both undergraduate and graduate courses, and she serves on the externship team coordinating clinical placements.
