Latika Menon

Latika Menon is an Associate Professor of Physics at Northeastern University, serving as Principal Investigator of the Advanced Nanomaterials Research Laboratory. She holds a PhD in Experimental Condensed Matter Physics from the Tata Institute of Fundamental Research, Mumbai, and an MBA from Northeastern University. Her research focuses on nanomaterials like porous alumina, titania nanotubes, and gallium nitride nanowires, with applications in solar cells and water filtration. She founded Menon Laboratories, Inc., a startup developing titania nanotube-based filtration membranes for water treatment, aiming to commercialize lab-scale research. Menon has secured over $6M in funding and holds 3 published patents and 1 issued patent. She is a Fellow of the Institute of Materials, Mining and Mineralization (IOM3) and the Institute of Physics (IOP).
