Latha Ganti

Latha Ganti, MD, MS, MBA, FACEP is an Adjunct Professor of Medical Science at Brown University’s Data Science Institute. She holds dual expertise in Emergency Medicine and Vascular Neurology, with a focus on neurologic emergencies, acute stroke, and traumatic brain injury. Her research integrates large dataset analysis with clinical practice, addressing challenges like hospital readmissions and emergency department throughput optimization. Dr. Ganti is an internationally recognized educator, having authored bestselling First Aid Clerkship books for medical students, and serves on editorial boards for journals like BMC Research Notes and Brain and Life. She has over 600 scientific publications and 26 books to her name, with an H-index of 35 and 5,600+ citations.
