Lasse Falk is a Researcher at the University of Hamburg Business School's Health Care Management department. He holds a PhD student position at the same institution since November 2022 and has been a scientific employee at the Management im Gesundheitswesen chair. His work focuses on health policy, healthcare economics, and pandemic response analysis.
Education: PhD candidate (since 2022), Master's in Health Economics and Health Care Management (2020-2022), Bachelor's in Business Administration with a Healthcare Management focus (2017-2020), all from the University of Hamburg.
Research interests include public health policy evaluation, socioeconomic impacts of healthcare interventions, and cost-benefit analyses in biotechnology. His 2023 study in Health Affairs explored European public perceptions of lockdown policies, while 2024 work examined gene therapy cost models for hemophilia treatments.
