Lars Stole is a Professor of Economics at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, where he has served since founding the Applied Theory Initiative and co-directing it from 2009 to 2019. He has lectured at prestigious institutions including MIT, CERGE/Prague, and CES/Munich, and held the Editor role at the RAND Journal of Economics.
