Lars Rom Jensen is a Part-time Lecturer at the Department of the Built Environment within The Faculty of Engineering and Science at Aalborg University. His research focuses on Limit State Engineering, Fatigue Load Analysis, and Hybrid Wind Turbine systems, particularly in the context of steel and ultra-high-performance fiber-reinforced concrete (UHPFRC) materials. He contributed to the FORIDA Towers project (2011-2013), investigating advanced structural solutions for next-generation wind turbine towers.
Research outputs include two technical reports (2014) analyzing steel transition pieces and UHPFRC towers, emphasizing fatigue loads, load combinations, and material performance. His work bridges civil engineering principles with renewable energy infrastructure challenges.
He holds an affiliation at the Division of Structures, Geotechnics and Risk, and his contact information includes the address: Thomas Manns Vej 23, 9220 Aalborg Øst, Denmark.
