Lars Rohwedder

Lars Rohwedder is an Associate Professor in Algorithms at the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science, University of Southern Denmark (SDU). His research focuses on theoretical computer science, particularly in the development of efficient algorithms for scheduling and optimization problems.

• Research Interests: Algorithms, Scheduling Theory, Integer Programming, Approximation Algorithms, Operations Research, Theoretical Computer Science.

Recent work includes advancements in coflow scheduling approximation, makespan minimization algorithms, and fine-grained complexity analysis. Rohwedder is involved in the NWO-funded project The Twilight Zone of Efficiency: Optimality of Quasi-Polynomial Time Algorithms, exploring computational efficiency boundaries.
