Lars-Petter Jelsness-Jørgensen is the Rector of Østfold University College since August 2019. Previously, he served as Acting Rector from 2018 and Pro-rector from 2017. He holds a PhD in Clinical Epidemiology from the University of Oslo (2011) and is a Professor of Health Sciences since 2014. His research focuses on patient-reported outcomes in chronic diseases, particularly inflammatory bowel disease (IBD), fatigue, and health-related quality of life.
