Lars C. Grabow

Lars C. Grabow is a Professor of Chemistry and Director of Graduate Admissions at the University of Houston. He leads the Computational Catalysis and Interface Chemistry Group and is actively involved in multiple research centers including the DOE Center for Programmable Energy Catalysis and DC-MUSE.

Research Interests focus on applying density functional theory, kinetic modeling, data science, and transient kinetic characterization to heterogeneous catalysis, surface science, and electrochemical energy systems. His group develops computational workflows for catalyst discovery and investigates externally imposed dynamics to enhance catalytic performance.

Article Trends show expertise in methane activation, single atom catalysis, dynamic reaction systems, and catalyst database development. Research spans from fundamental surface chemistry to industrial catalytic applications.
