Prof. Dr. Lars Borchardt is a faculty member at the Faculty of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Ruhr-Universität Bochum, leading the Department of Inorganic Chemistry I. His research focuses on mechanochemistry as a resource-, energy-, and time-efficient synthesis method for carbon-based electrode materials, with a particular emphasis on sustainable approaches using renewable resources or waste materials.
