Lars Boehme

Dr. Lars Boehme is a Professor in the School of Biology at the University of St Andrews, with affiliations to the Sea Mammal Research Unit and the Scottish Oceans Institute. His research focuses on ocean overturning circulation, frontal systems, and animal-borne technology, particularly deploying sensors on seals to monitor climate variability. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of St Andrews and a Diploma in Physical Oceanography from the University of Kiel.
