Larry Ortiz is a Professor in the Department of Social Work and Social Ecology at Loma Linda University. He holds a PhD in Sociology from the State University of New York, Buffalo (1987) and an MSW in Clinical Social Work from Western Michigan University (1977). His expertise spans race and ethnic studies, critical theory, Latino/a issues, community practice, program evaluation, and social justice.
