Larisa Diaconu

Dr. Larisa Diaconu is a Lecturer and Laboratory Head in the Department of Automation and Electrical Engineering at the University of Dunărea de Jos Galați. She holds a PhD in Systems Engineering (2022) and has extensive experience in teaching and research, focusing on control systems, wastewater treatment, and anaerobic digestion processes. Her roles include laboratory coordination for courses like Applied Informatics, Artificial Intelligence, and Big Data Techniques, as well as supporting lectures on Data Processing and Automatic Control Systems.

Her research contributions span environmental and industrial applications, including controller design for anaerobic digestion and wastewater treatment optimization. She has authored three books and over 20 peer-reviewed articles, many published in ISI-indexed proceedings. Her work often integrates data-driven methods, neural networks, and advanced control algorithms.
