Dr. Lara Lundsgaard-Hansen is a Senior Research Scientist at the Centre for Development and Environment (CDE) at the University of Bern. Her work focuses on sustainability governance, conflict-sensitive research, and the impacts of mega-infrastructure projects in Myanmar, China, and the South Caucasus.
Key research areas include:
- Decolonization of research practices
- Land governance and war-state dynamics
- Serious games for sustainability
- Multi-stakeholder processes in challenging environments
Her recent publications examine North-South funding instruments, conflict-sensitive methodologies, and participatory visioning approaches in Myanmar agriculture. She received an award for outstanding teaching performance in the ALL program.
