Lara Harris

Lara Harris is a Research Fellow in Digital Twin Measurement Systems at Coventry University’s Institute for Advanced Manufacturing and Engineering, part of the Research Centre for Manufacturing and Materials. Her work focuses on developing datasets and data systems to address industrial challenges, particularly in creating holistic digital twins for lifecycle management of complex assets like vehicles and manufacturing machinery. She also emphasizes data assurance and sensor network integration.

Previously, she was an Industry Collaboration Fellow at the University of Salford’s UKAS-accredited Acoustics Laboratories, contributing to the establishment of the National Institute for Airborne Acoustic Metrology. Her industry experience spans automotive and industrial safety sectors, with expertise in process measurement and quality control.

Research Interests: Lara’s work centers on digital twins, industrial data management, sensor networks, and sustainable manufacturing. She explores how data acquisition systems can solve real-world problems and ensure high-quality measurement standards across diverse sectors.
