Lap Le

Lap Le is a Senior Lecturer at Otis College in Los Angeles. He holds an MFA in 2D Design from Cranbrook Academy of Art (2010) and a BFA in Applied Visual Art from Oregon State University (2008). His creative practice spans visual arts, graphic design, and science fiction writing.

Research & Creative Practice:

• Focus on 2D design, digital visual storytelling, and experimental art forms
• Blends science fiction themes with contemporary visual art
• Expertise in graphic design and high-resolution media

Professional Affiliations: Currently works as a Lead Designer at Media.Monks (2019–present), previously held positions at Virginia Commonwealth University, Nickelodeon, and Syfy.

Selected Publications: Contributed to Ogre magazine (2016), created narrative-driven works like Ex Mykah's 16 17 (2021) and the sci-fi themed Tomorrow, asteroid (2022).
