Landerl Karin is a full Professor at the Institute of Psychology, Faculty of Natural Sciences, University of Graz. Her research focuses on reading development, dyslexia, numerical cognition, and cross-linguistic educational psychology, particularly in Germanic languages.
She has served as associate editor and editorial board member for prominent journals like Scientific Studies of Reading and Reading and Writing (2008–2021). Her recent work investigates the interplay between reading, arithmetic, and cognitive skills, with genome-wide studies on reading/language-related genetic variation.
