Lama Tarsissi is an Associate Professor at Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi, specializing in Mathematics and Computer Sciences. She is affiliated with the Sorbonne Center for Artificial Intelligence (SCAI) and holds an associate researcher position at the University of Gustave Eiffel in Paris, France.
- PhD in Mathematics and Computer Sciences from the University of Savoie Mont Blanc
Her research bridges theoretical mathematics and computational sciences, focusing on discrete geometry, combinatorics on words, dynamic systems, and AI applications. She actively contributes to interdisciplinary projects involving hypergraphs and discrete convexity.
Notably, she serves as the ambassador of the Committee of Women in Mathematics (CWM) for Lebanon and the UAE, and since 2024, she has been a member of the Middle East Research Commission at the Francophonie University Agency (AUF).
