Lalita Udpa

Dr. Lalita Udpa is a University Distinguished Professor in Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at Michigan State University (MSU), with a joint appointment in the College of Natural Science's Physics-Astronomy department. Her research focuses on Nondestructive Evaluation (NDE), signal processing, and advanced sensor technologies for structural health monitoring. She leads the Nondestructive Evaluation Laboratory (NDEL), pioneering innovations in electromagnetic and microwave-based inspection methods for aerospace, energy, and biomedical applications.
