Ladd Keith is an Associate Professor in the School of Landscape Architecture and Planning at the University of Arizona, with affiliations including the Udall Center for Studies in Public Policy and the Southwest Center on Resilience for Climate Change and Health (SCORCH). His research focuses on urban heat resilience, climate governance, and integrating public health with urban planning to address extreme heat risks.

His work spans case studies in U.S. cities like Phoenix, Tucson, and Boston, as well as international contexts such as Vienna. As a Faculty Research Associate at the Udall Center and co-investigator for initiatives like BRACE and NIHHIS, he bridges academic research with practical climate adaptation strategies. He also develops tools like the Plan Integration for Resilience Scorecard (PIRS™) for Heat to support municipal planning efforts.
