Jeremy Lim Fung Yen is an Adjunct Associate Professor at the Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health, National University of Singapore (NUS). He is also the co-founder and CEO of AMiLi, Southeast Asia’s first gut microbiome full-service company. His roles include board memberships at HealthServe, Dover Park Hospice, and the Atlantic Institute (Oxford, UK), alongside advisory roles at NUS initiatives such as the NIHA and Centre for Health Informatics.
Education: MBBS (NUS), MPH (Johns Hopkins University, Fulbright Scholar), Masters of Medicine (Surgery, NUS), Member of the Royal College of Surgeons (Edinburgh).
Research Interests: Global Health, Health Economics, Healthcare Systems & Policy, with a focus on leveraging technology to enhance health equity. His work spans pandemic preparedness, long-term care governance, and healthcare access in Asia.
Publications & Media: Co-authored studies on pandemic response and long-term care governance. Regular contributor to media outlets like The Straits Times and TODAY on healthcare policy, including commentaries on Singapore’s Healthier SG initiative and MediShield Life reforms.
Awards & Recognition: Inaugural Asia Society A21 Young Leaders Fellow (2006), Fulbright Scholarship recipient, and Fellow of the Academy of Medicine, Singapore.
Grants & Leadership: Advised health tech companies and global health programs. Previously held executive roles at Singapore’s Ministry of Health and Oliver Wyman’s Asia health consultancy practice.
