LEE Chien Earn

LEE Chien Earn is the Deputy Group CEO of SingHealth, overseeing the Regional Health System in Eastern Singapore. He holds adjunct professorships at NUS Saw Swee Hock School of Public Health, Duke-NUS Medical School, and Singapore University of Technology and Design. His expertise spans healthcare services management, health systems policy, and integrated care. Previously, he held leadership roles in the Ministry of Health, focusing on healthcare performance, regulation, and finance. His educational background includes an MBBS and Master of Medicine (Public Health) from NUS, along with advanced training in change management and theological studies.

Key awards include the National Day Award – Public Administration Award (Silver, 2011) and recognition for his role in addressing the Fusarium Keratitis outbreak (2006). He has extensive administrative leadership, serving on boards such as Bright Vision Hospital and Nanyang Polytechnic’s Health Sciences Advisory Committee. Internationally, he contributes to WHO initiatives and global health policy forums.

His research emphasizes healthcare system evolution, policy implementation, and quality improvement strategies. Collaborations span institutions like the World Health Organization and the US National Academy of Medicine. Publications include seminal works on Singapore’s healthcare system history and infectious disease management.
