Manon Lecaille is a Doctorante (PhD candidate) and Aspirante FNRS (FNRS Research Trainee) at the University of Liège, affiliated with the Faculty of Sciences and the Department of Geology. Her work focuses on pétrologie, géochimie endogènes et pétrophysique (endogenous petrology, geochemistry, and petrophysics).
Her research investigates magmatic processes, planetary science, and volcanological dynamics, particularly through experimental studies on magma composition, metal vaporization, and Mercury's geological evolution. Recent publications analyze sulfur's role in magma crystallization, Mercury's interior modeling, and explosive volcanism on Mercury.
Manon is supported by prestigious fellowships, including the FNRS Aspirant and Fonds associés programs. She contributes to planetary science missions like BepiColombo through the development of Mercury analogue materials for instrument calibration.
