L.M. Bogad

Professor L.M. Bogad is a prominent figure in political performance at the University of California, Davis, serving as Professor of Theatre & Dance and Director of the Center for Tactical Performance. A Guggenheim Fellow and co-founder of the Clown Army, his work integrates performance art with activism, addressing themes like labor rights, climate justice, and social movements. He has performed globally, including at SF MOMA and the Hemispheric Institute, and led workshops in over 20 countries, notably during Egypt’s 2011 revolution.
